Usage
The SEE series gravel filters are used to remove undissolved dirt particles from cooling circuits based on a single-layer gravel filter, fully automatically controlled via a LOGO! controller (Siemens). The SEE series gravel filter systems operate with differential pressure-controlled backwash triggering. They have a spring-loaded drain valve that closes in the event of a control medium failure or power failure. This prevents the cooling basin from running dry. The LOGO! controller monitors the plausibility of the flushes and triggers a fault message if, for example, flushes are performed too frequently or without measurable success. A potential-free fault message contact is available. The system's pressure sensors monitor the minimum and maximum pressure at the inlet and outlet of the system. The systems are equipped with brand-name diaphragm valves and pneumatic ball valves that are resistant to contamination. The specially programmed switching sequence ensures low-pressure-surge switching.
The gravel filters can be equipped with various accessories (feed pump, flow meter, wastewater monitoring, etc.) and adapted precisely to the requirements on site.
