Usage
The EHE-75-mobil mobile single water softener makes it easy to fill heating systems with softened water in accordance with VDI2035.
The filter tank itself is mounted on a sturdy steel tube trolley and can be quickly and conveniently transported to the place of use.
The salt dissolving tank included in the scope of delivery remains stationary at the main location. After the predetermined amount of soft water has been withdrawn (readable on the water meter), the filter tank is returned to the main location, then connected to the salt dissolving tank and the waste water in just a few simple steps and regenerated.
Once regeneration is complete, the filter tank is available again at full capacity.
Functionality
The EHE75mobil series water softeners operate as individual softening systems based on the ion exchange principle. Operation is semi-automatic.
The raw water flows through the inlet on the control valve into the filter tank, flows through the exchange mass, where the softening process takes place, rises upwards via the nozzle rod and leaves the control valve via the soft water outlet.
Once the capacity of the exchange mass is exhausted, regeneration must be initiated by winding the spring timer on the control valve. This draws the brine from the salt container (included in delivery) through the brine valve and directs it through the exchange mass. The regeneration wastewater leaves the control valve via the drain hose to the sewer. Once the brine has been extracted, the residual brine in the filter tank is washed out with clean water.
